Program Coordinator

Tooni joined the WITS team in August 2009 as one of the newest Program Coordinators. After graduating from University of Minnesota, Twin Cities with a B.A. in Psychology and African-American/African Studies, Tooni pursued an AmeriCorps VISTA position at a non-profit organization in Chicago. During her one year service, Tooni was responsible for the overall management and day-to-day operations of the Refugee Mentoring Program, in which she matched volunteer mentors with newly arrived refugees. Tooni is very ecstatic about working at WITS!

When Tooni is not working, you can find her jogging around the shores of Lake Michigan, volunteering, and hanging out with friends. In her spare time, Tooni loves to cook and dance!
