Program and Evaluation Manager

Shaunna graduated from the University of Toronto with a degree in psychology in 2002. She moved to Chicago to take a position with the University of Illinois at Chicago where she earned her MEd., and worked as a Research Specialist on projects that focused on strengthening the literacy skills of urban children. From these experiences she understands that literacy and critical thinking skills give students a powerful voice, and she wishes to help more students find their voice while working at WITS. In her free time Shaunna loves volunteering, running, riding motorcycles, visiting her family, and exploring Chicago.
