Program Coordinator

Morgan joined the WITS team in August 2009 as a Program Coordinator. Originally from the Chicagoland area, she graduated from the University of Wisconsin, Madison with a B.A. in Communications. During her time at college, Morgan worked for the Preschools of Hope Project, facilitating a summer school program for at-risk preschool students.

Morgan volunteered 10 months of service for City Year Rhode Island. As a Corps Member, she acted as a tutor and mentor in a 5th grade classroom and organized a community service program for middle school youth.

Morgan is passionate about educational reform and sustainable community change that empowers young people and their families to receive all of the opportunities and support they deserve. She hopes to continue that mission at WITS. When not at work, you can expect to find Morgan taking impromptu road trips, reading at a nearby coffee shop or attempting to cook a new and exciting dish!
