Literacy Roundtable

With the everchanging landscape in the nonprofit world, especially concerning literacy initiatives, the Literacy Roundtable is a community and resource for Chicago nonprofits to work together and enhance reading and creative writing programs that serve the city's youth.

The voices of the various organizations contribute to the converstaion about education issues facing our children.  Together, we can brainstorm, share, and strategize ways to ensure Chicago's students become successful readers and writers.

The Literacy Roundtable was recently established by Jenné Myers in the summer of 2009 and the collaboration continues to grow.  While our missions may be different, we all share the ultimate goal of educating Chicago's youth.

All input on Chicago's literacy issues is incredibly valuable.  If you would like to partake in the Literacy Roundtable, please contact Jenné.

Currently 22 organizations are involved in the Literacy Roundtable.  All are working together and finding ways to combine and improve literacy programs.
