Jenné's Legacy

WITS Wishes Jenné the Best

Jenné was offered an amazing opportunity to return to the City in the newly created role of Chief Service Officer to coordinate a citywide volunteer effort.  Recognizing this opportunity as a chance to have an even greater impact on our city, Jenné accepted the position and is no longer at WITS.

Over the four years that WITS has been under her reign, Jenné has evoked incredible change.  From program growth and increased corporate support, to a growing foundation base and increased awareness in the community, WITS would not be where it is today without the unparalleled leadership of this outstanding young woman.

Her passion for WITS and Chicago's children goes beyond office walls.  Jenné volunteered for the Saturday Tutoring program at Walsh Elementary and was most encouraging towards her students.  Before there was a WITS charity race team, Jenné was participating in the Chicago Triathlon and raising awareness and funding for WITS programs.  You could also find her at volunteer fairs after-hours and on weekends talking about WITS.

Spending her free time reading literacy initiatives and staying abreast on education policies and issues, Jenné  then founded the Literacy Roundtable, an effort to join literacy nonprofits in the Chicago to best serve our youth.

It is apparent to anyone who knows Jenné that her passion continues to drive her forward.  Her outstanding leadership has propelled WITS to new levels and will take her even further in her future endeavors.

WITS could not be more proud of Jenné and wishes her all the best at her new role at the City of Chicago.
