Development Coordinator

Ashley received her B.A. in English from the University of Wisconsin-Madison studying literature. After graduating, she pursued work in nonprofits, and it was there that she realized her ideal position is working in development and grant writing. After finding WITS, she feels very fortunate to work with an organization that combines her passions (literacy! education!) as well as her career goals. An absolute city person, Ashley spends a lot of her time trying to find the many things Chicago has to offer-especially the city's great restaurants; she has fallen in love with food all over again. She loves dedicating her time to friends and family, running, tennis, reading, and writing.
